The Elmere House Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful, historic farmhouse that was built in 1865 and restored in 2008. In 2019 all rooms were refurnished and redecorated.
The interior still retains some of the charm of the mid-1800's with its completely refinished, original wood floors and beams. Yet, you'll find that it has all the modern amenities and comfort features of a new accommodation.
Elmere House is conveniently located in Wells Maine (in the Moody section) between Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. We're one mile from four of the finest beaches in southern Maine, The North Ogunquit beach, the Footbridge beach, Wells beach and Cresent beach. as well as close to, Perkins Cove, The Marginal Way, Ogunquit Village, Nubble Light House, Kennebunkport, Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge and Laudholm Farm Sanctuary are only minutes away.
When staying at Elmere House you'll be served a home cooked full two-course breakfast every morning in the dining room. We begin with fresh coffee, tea and orange juice. The first course is fresh fruit, and the third course is the hot entree of the day, which will be one of the following breakfasts listed below chosen by Chef Bill and served to all guests.
We serve the same hot entree to all guests, sorry but there are no substitutes. We can accommodate a gluten free breakfast just let us know at check-in.

**Fruited French Toast made with French Bread topped with Blueberries, Strawberries, real Maple Syrup and served with Bacon.
**Blueberry Pancakes with fresh blueberries inside and on top of the pancakes, with real Maple Syrup and served with Bacon.
**Eggs Benedict made with poached eggs served on a toasted English Muffin with Canadian Bacon topped with Hollandaise Sauce served with homemade Home Fries made with red skin potatoes, onion, olive oil and garlic pepper.
**Waffles topped with Fresh Fruit, real Maple Syrup, homemade Whip Cream and Sausage.
**Omelets to order with Toast and Bacon.
**Bacon and Eggs cooked any way you like them with Toast.
